**Overview**
The Starcom team is seeking a Vice President, Director, Paid Strategy and Planning. The position will be responsible to:
**Responsibilities**
+ Develop innovative, high-level media strategies to achieve client’s marketing and business goals, based on a clear understanding of objectives, substantiated by data and insights
+ Deliver scalable frameworks to support long-term marketing growth
+ Ensure strategic integrity across all client-facing deliverables, inclusive of work led by other teams such as audience prioritization, never been done before ideas,
+ Clearly and concisely communicate media strategies through compelling storytelling and data visualizations for client leadership
+ Be an independent thought leader who builds positive relationships with client leadership and works collaboratively with discipline partners
+ Drive innovation and thought leadership to generate modern marketing solutions
+ Problem solve using critical thinking skills, data, and research
+ Maintain an in-depth knowledge of media industry news and client business (current and historical perspectives) with a focus on upstream initiatives
+ Be part of a center of excellence for higher-order strategic needs beyond campaign execution
+ Partner across teams to identify and validate emerging opportunities across audience, media, and measurement to support the case for new campaigns and initiatives
**Qualifications**
+ 15 years of experience in media planning/strategy with progressive levels of responsibility
+ Able to strategically plan campaigns to achieve client’s goals and KPIs
+ Experience across all media types (e.g., national, local, social, direct, programmatic, search)
+ Experience with MMM, ROI models, brand health research, media attribution models, and research to interpret data and apply learnings to media
+ Able to anticipate and quickly assess continually changing client needs to adapt deliverables accordingly
+ Able to move quickly, with agility and patience, to meet client timelines
+ Ability to translate data into viable business solutions to enhance strategies
+ Experience with new business development to confidently sell in big ideas to clients
+ Proven ability to deliver best-in-class strategies and recommendations
+ Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills

The benefits offerings listed are available to eligible U.S. Based employees, are reviewed on an annual basis, and are governed by the terms of the applicable plan documents.
Compensation Range: $146,490- $230,460 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off. The Company anticipates the application deadline for this job posting will be 8/15/25.
