Overview Responsible for designing, building, and delivering advanced data science and marketing science solutions in Publicis’s CoreAI platform(s) to support the agency’s global media engagement relationship with Mars, Inc. (“Mars”). This role will be a critical driver both of technical innovation and effective delivery of advanced analytic solutions. Specifically in the areas of connected measurement, outcomes/KPI forecasting, experimental designs at the strategic segments and geo levels, and optimization across all brand & performance media investments. This role combines experience in applied marketing science and media strategy activation with deep expertise in best-of-breed sophisticated modeling capabilities to guide the implementation of ML/AI-based solutions. Activities and focus are media investment planning, efficient experimental designs, complete marketing and advertising measurement and optimization at the customer cohort and geographic levels. We seek an experienced marketing/data science practitioner who has applied their technical expertise to innovative data engineering and ML/AI modeling problems. The ideal candidate blends technical-domain expertise with hands-on modeling and data engineering experience in demonstrating structured & unstructured data and category experience across various CPG categories and product lines. Responsibilities Thought Leadership & Industry Innovation Partner with CoreAI leaders and account strategists to translate complex business goals—such as customer retention, media efficiency, brand growth, and sales forecasting—into actionable data science and marketing science solutions. Design and lead global measurement strategies that support regions, segments, and agency partners, building high-level analytic frameworks that drive decision-making. Evaluate existing marketing science capabilities and guide the creation of a Capabilities Roadmap covering customer segmentation, predictive modeling, dynamic creative optimization, and well-rounded performance measurement. Foster a culture of innovation by applying standard methodologies and engaging in experimentation to continually improve outcomes. Host collaborative workshops with customers to define project scope, success metrics, and key performance indicators. Solution Development & Innovation Advance the CoreAI product offering with new approaches to predictive analytics, AI-powered performance reporting, and cross-media optimization. Develop and deploy analytic solutions that leverage connected data, advanced modeling, and cutting-edge technology to maintain a competitive edge. Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to shape strategy and ensure successful execution. Marketing Science & Advanced Modeling Lead a team in applying machine learning and AI methods (clustering, neural networks, time series forecasting, optimization algorithms) to create high-impact marketing solutions. Work with complex datasets—including consumer behavior, CRM engagement, and content performance—to generate actionable insights. Partner with data science peers to build AI-driven dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Datorama. Use programming languages (Python, R, SQL) and frameworks (TensorFlow, scikit-learn) to deliver strong, scalable models. Project Execution & Leadership Oversee projects from planning to delivery, ensuring all solutions meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, data analysts, and strategists to ensure smooth delivery. Present complex findings in a clear, actionable way for both technical and business audiences. Continuously refine models to ensure accuracy and optimal performance. Qualifications Demonstrated ability in marketing & media analytics with a major marketing & advertising network or similar client-side functions/roles. Proven experience in client-facing roles and in delivering advanced analytics to clients. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Analytics, Business, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. Practical knowledge of statistical modeling & predictive analytic techniques required to solve complex problems in marketing & media such as MMM, multi-touch attribution, Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO), customer segmentation, media scenario planning, etc. Practical understanding and/or experience with systematic test design & improvement approaches such as full & fractional factorials, Monte Carlo simulations/risk-based testing, etc. Programming experience in Python/R/SQL/SAS/Dataiku/etc. Experience with data modeling frameworks—hierarchical and network models, OLAP design, predictive & times series data modeling, knowledge graphs, etc. Proficiency with visualization tools such as Tableau/Datorama/PowerBI. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met.
