What is the opportunity?
Leads a team of individuals to achieve business results by successfully executing RBC and Commercial Financial Services (CFS) strategic business priorities of delivering a highly differentiated client experience to enhance client loyalty and growing revenue by acquiring new clients and deepening existing client relationships. Coaches and mentors a capable sales force focused on growing existing client relationships and acquiring new clients.
What will you do?
Leads the team to, and also personally, delivers RBC's CFS client experience that ensures clients do business with RBC in the easiest manner possible, clients always feel appreciated and valued and benefit from being proactively provided with relevant financial and business knowledge, expertise and advice;
Applies business acumen and CFS banking knowledge in regularly assessing local market business opportunities and, by focusing on the key business drivers that lead to effective sales behaviour and business results, adapts the team's capacity for fullest productivity (\"once and done\") and effectiveness (\"execution excellence\");
Coaches team members to maintain a balance of sales results, portfolio profitability and strong client relationships and to use proactive client relationship management skills for effective price/fee negotiation within prescribed guidelines.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Strong knowledge/experience in commercial banking.
Sales management experience
Strong market representation skills
Proven abilities in development of centers of influence.
Bachelor's degree in business administration. (MBA would be considered an asset)
Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve our clients with English and French-speaking needs.
