The APAC Asset Services department is responsible for Corporate Actions events relating to Equity products. The position will manage the Corporate Actions processes and control where you will have the exposure to deal with Traders, Stock Loan counterparties, exchanges and registrars day to day for managing various tasks such as Corporate Actions notification, election and entitlement management, handling Client queries, escalation and breaks solution.
You will be exposed to both internal and external auditors and global teams to support wide range of risk, control and oversight function within the department
This role requires candidate who has strong leadership skill with aptitude for problem solving, attention to detail, a risk and control awareness, taking lead in decision making and building good working relationship with various internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
To manages overall Corporate Action Custody processes in an accurate, timely and consistent manner, in accordance with departmental procedures and to the agreed service level
Requirements:
Tertiary education with a good academic track record5 years or more of experience in Corporate Actions or similar scopeManagerial experience in managing a teamStrong knowledge of Corporate/Investment Banking within the Prime Brokerage/Custody space is preferredAbility to prioritise heavy workloads and work efficiently in dynamic environment to meet deadlinesAn independent and proactive worker with strong communication skillsDriven and self-motivated individualAbility to work well under pressure and flexible to adjust to changing priorities.Exposure to Data analysis, Audit, Risk and control functionA flexible approach to workStrategic ThinkerGood organizational skillsOther Qualifications:
