As an onsite Vibration Monitoring Engineer, you will be tasked with managing and executing an embedded engineer contract at an LNG Site located in Sabine Pass, TX, in the Gulf Region. You will evaluate asset condition and recommend corrective action based on quality asset condition analysis on the customer's critical assets, asset protection system, and asset monitoring systems. You will build customer relationships, manage contractual obligations, be responsible for financial commitments to the business, as well as service commitments to the customers.

As a Vibration Monitoring Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Perform Rotating Machinery Diagnostic Services using Bently System1® monitoring hardware & Software.Execute Service Contract at a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) FacilityAssess job site Safety and perform services as per local, federal, customer, and Baker Hughes HSE Policies.Perform Asset Management / Reliability Service StudiesUnderstand contractual commitments and complete them promptly.Diagnose basic machinery problems based upon vibration data, operational data, and/or customer communicationsKnow Bently Nevada Machinery Diagnostic, System 1®, BN Protection system capabilities and uses.Timely completion of standard service reports, invoicing packages, and other administrative requirementsReact to customer requests promptly.Complete Documentation of findings/recommendations, both internally (Web Portal) and for the customer.Professionally communicate with customers and other team membersDrive customer satisfaction through commitment to quality.Support the growth initiatives of the business.

To be successful in this role, you will:

Have a Bachelor’s Degree in the Engineering Field and/or 5 Years of Machinery Vibration Analysis experience.Have recent Turbomachinery vibration analysis experience on large industrial equipment such as reciprocating and/or centrifugal compressors, steam and/or Gas turbines generator sets, etc.Have the ability to obtain a TWIC Card if you do not already have oneHave the ability and willingness to work overtime, as requiredBe able to commute daily to the customer’s site. Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English languageBe able to operate with minimal supervision, work independently, and be able to prioritize, organize, and meet deadlines accordinglyHave exceptional computer skills, both Hardware and Software, plus MS Office software skills

Desired Characteristics:

Have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related disciplineISO CAT II or better Vibration Certification Bently Nevada System 1 KnowledgeStrong written and oral communication skills to convey technical concepts to business and technical personnelAbility to work under stressful working conditionsProject Management SkillsMechanical & Electrical troubleshooting skills. "Hands-on approach"Ability to read, interpret, and understand mechanical printsKnowledge of Portable Data Collectors and analysisExperience with Networking devices and protocolsKnowledge of rotating machinery operation and control systemsKnowledge of machinery protection and management systemsFamiliar with the Cordant suite of software and deliverables.
