A VEV warehouse technician works full-time in a prototype warehouse. Technician is responsible to ensure proper execution of receiving, storage, picking/pack and shipping processes and optimize space management, ensuring proper product placement and handling based on rotation and demand.

High school diploma or technical degree Exemplary customer care skills Excellent organization and administrative skills Intermediate computer skills Ability to operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks Detail-oriented and multitasking skills 1 year of warehouse or distribution experience preferred Follow all the security guidelines when offloading a truck with vehicles, production and non-production prototype material. Perform all the receiving processes accordingly to the global and site rules for the GPIRS system and Masterfile tracker. Perform a material write up for every box delivered ensuring the part number and PO# information in it. Assign the location for the material which will be stored and verify the physical location assigned matches with the virtual location assigned.  Receives the Material withdrawals created and process it for pickers. Verify all the material requested in correctly delivered to the customer based on the correct prototype part number/PO# Process export ELMS request, verify the request contains all the necessary information to proceed with the shipment. Candidate must be able to review and approve the request based on the customer needs and communicate all the necessary information on the discussion board. Creates 30-40 and CFDIs for material that needs to be shipped out of the company Provide support for the customers requesting safety equipment. Train new team members in all the warehouse steps such as Receive, storage, pick, shipping Create and maintain Inventory control and reports Create cycle count to avoid discrepancies on materials picked bit by bit Collaborate hand to hand with logistics team for all the import and export materials. Able and willing to work off shifts, days off and weekends as necessary. Possess and promote a positive attitude, proactivity and performs other duties as assigned.
