Due to increased business wins Mitie Security is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Vetting Co-Ordinators to provide essential administrative support to our Vetting Team. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in administration who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Job Type: 6 Month FTC - Full Time - Immediate start available
Location: Brackmills Industrial Estate, Northampton NN4 7SL
Salary: £24,637
Hours: 37.5 Mon - Fri 8:30am-5pm
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of administrative duties to support the efficient operation of the Team. Manage data input and maintain accurate records in accordance with internal processes. Coordinate reference checks and manage communications with referees and applicants. Follow vetting process flows to ensure compliance with company standards. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure all documentation and data handling adhere to confidentiality and data protection standards.Key Skills & Attributes:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in administrative work. Proficient IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and database systems. Self-motivated, well-organised, and able to manage tasks independently and as part of a team. Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment with the ability to prioritise effectively.Desirable (Not Essential):
Previous experience in a vetting or background screening role. Understanding of DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) processes.
