Join Our Team as a Relief Veterinary Technician!

VCA Arboretum View Animal Hospital is seeking a Relief Veterinary Technician to support our team on an as-needed basis. Whether you're looking to pick up occasional shifts or gain experience in a new setting, we’d love to work with you!

What You’ll Do:

Provide high-quality nursing care to hospitalized and surgical patients

Assist veterinarians in exams, diagnostics, and treatment plans

Perform technical skills such as blood draws, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, and radiology

Support the team in creating a positive, low-stress environment for pets and clients

Maintain accurate patient records and ensure cleanliness and organization in treatment areas

Requirements:

Licensed or credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) or equivalent experience (depending on state regulations)

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred

Flexible availability, including some evenings or weekends

Reliable, team-oriented, and comfortable jumping into different roles as needed

Compensation:

Pay Range is $20 - 30 /hr is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field.

Shift Differential: We offer a shift differential to all hourly associates who work within a specific timeframe.
