Harvest Hills Animal Hospital is excited to welcome a dependable and compassionate Veterinary Technician Assistant to our team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organized, motivated, and empathetic individual to play a key support role in a collaborative and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities:Support veterinary staff with patient care, treatments, and various clinical tasks
Create a warm, welcoming experience for clients and their pets
Foster a calm, low-stress environment for patients, adapting to changing situations
Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the hospital, including reception, exam rooms, and animal holding areas
Stay open to learning and growing your knowledge of veterinary services and medical procedures
What We’re Looking For:A compassionate, nurturing attitude and genuine love for animals, even the feisty ones!
The ability to be adaptable; some days will be amazing and full of puppies and cute cats and some days will be to support an appointment to say good bye to a cherished pet
Excellent communication and client service skills
A positive, team-oriented mindset and strong work ethic
Certification in a Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Office Assistant (VOA) program is an asset
