This is an exceptional opportunity for an organized, motivated, and empathetic individual to join us in a very important support role for the entire hospital. + Handling appointment scheduling, pet patient admission and discharge, and follow-up calls + Assisting veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments + Managing email correspondence for clients, referring veterinarians, and internal office messages + Managing invoicing/billing, including creating estimates, obtaining pet owner confirmation, and processing payments + Assisting veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments + Cultivating a warm, positive, compassionate atmosphere for our clients and patients + General cleanliness maintenance in reception, pet holding areas, and common spaces + Demonstrating willingness to learn about pet nutrition, veterinary services, and updated medical office procedures + Remaining calm and adaptable in stressful situations + Taking initiative and working independently + A Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Assistant Office Administration (VAOA) program certificate is an asset + A love for all companion animals!! **What VCA Canada** **Offers** Join our team and you will make a huge difference in the lives of pets and their families!
