**Veterinary Reception, Animal Care Attendant** **Location: Markham, ON** **Cachet Village Animal Hospital** is currently welcoming an organized and empathic individual to join our support team full-time in the dual role of a **Veterinary Reception** and **Animal Care Attendant.** + Caring for our patients; feeding, walking and offering a gentle voice of assurance. + Ensure animal housing or enclosure is clean, sanitary and comfortable. + Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for patients and pet parents + Excellent customer service skills, with a genuine aptitude for putting pets and their owners at ease and creating a welcoming environment. + Scheduling appointments. + Invoicing/billing; creating estimates, obtaining pet owner confirmation and processing payments. + Respond and manage email correspondence; clients, referring veterinarians & internal office messages. + Assisting veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments + Animal Restraint. + General housekeeping duties; pet holding, lobby and treatment areas. + Willingness to learn more regarding pet nutrition, veterinary services, updated medical office procedures and assisting the veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments. + Take initiative and work independently. + VA Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Office Assistant (VOA) program certificate is an asset. **What VCA Canada Offers** Join our team and you will make a huge difference in the lives of pets and their families!
