Croft Veterinary Practice are looking to expand their Nursing team by recruiting for a Patient Care Assistant. In this role you have the opportunity to work alongside a supportive and friendly team while gaining experience in the veterinary industry.
Your role will include
Assisting the Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary NursesCovering reception occasionallyAnimal handlingHelping the inpatient nurse care for the patientsAssisting in preparing animals for surgeriesLiaising with the operating team to set up in between proceduresassisting in ultrasounds and much more!This role is a career in itself, and the Patient Care Assistant role within Crofts comes with great progression. As a Patient Care Assistant, it is also a great way to get your foot in the door if looking to progress into Veterinary Nursing.

Hours of work:
· 40-hour week
· 1 in 4 weekends (Saturday 8am - 12pm) but with time back in leu
· Different shift roles to include working with the operating team, working with the inpatient team and front of house.
· Shifts vary between 8am – 5pm and 10am -7pm
