Veterinary Assistant – Yorkville Animal Hospital

Yorkville Animal Hospital is a busy, fast-paced general practice with urgent care and walk-in services. We provide high-quality care in our state-of-the-art facility while giving back to our community through our rescue, Silly’s Sanctuary, and partnerships with local rescues and animal control. 

We’re seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant who is ready to grow in their career while supporting a collaborative, team-oriented hospital. 

What You’ll Do: 

Assist with general practice, urgent care, and surgery cases 

Provide patient care, treatments, and client support 

Work closely with doctors and technicians in a fast-paced environment 

Be part of a long-standing, supportive team with strong staff longevity 

Schedule: 

5-day work week 

2 weekend shifts per month 

Shared holiday rotation for basic patient care 

Compensation & Benefits: 

$18–$25/hr based on experience
