Jon class: Maternity leave contract position

Scarborough Animal Hospital in east Toronto is welcoming a Maternity leave Full-time Client Care Specialist, Veterinary Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate for this hybrid role will have the flexibility to work various shifts as required.

What you need

Exceptional client service skills that build trust and loyalty with clients

Strong communication skills and ability to work with a dynamic and diverse team

Compassion and nurturing attitude when providing care to clients and patients

Ability to remain calm and efficient in stressful situations

Positive outlook and enthusiasm for learning

Initiative in carrying out assignments independently

Previous veterinary education or certificate is considered an asset

Your role will include

Assisting registered veterinary technologists with patients

Patient check in as well as invoicing

Routine cleaning and stocking of the clinic

Cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments and greens

Cleaning kennels and litter boxes

In patient care such as feeding and walking dogs after surgery

Correspondence with clients

Scheduling appointments and medical procedures
