We are an AAHA-accredited 3-doctor practice in Raleigh, NC, offering Primary Care, Surgery, and Dentistry services as well as boarding and grooming. Practice Hands-Free Radiology and Low Stress Animal Handling. We have a family culture here. We do many events together and enjoy each other’s company in and out of the hospital. We have been serving our community for over 20 years and believe in providing the best possible care for our patients.

Our hours are Monday through Friday 7:30am - 6pm, Saturdays 8am - 12pm, closed on Sundays.

About the Role

As Veterinary Assistant, you will help create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients. Duties will include:

Compassionate patient careClient education and careVenipuncture and catheter placementRadiology and diagnosticsLab sample collection and processingAssisting with surgery, dentistry, and anesthesiaMedication preparation and administrationSafe and effective patient handling and restraintMedical recordkeeping

Qualifications

2 or more years’ experience as a Veterinary Assistant strongly preferred, supportive of students of Veterinary Technology Programs, willing to train the right person for the positionAble to proficiently perform veterinary skills including duties listed above
