About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our veterinarians and fellow technicians to provide exceptional medical care and outstanding service to our clients and their pets.
This position requires strong technical abilities, a proactive mindset, and a passion for teamwork. You’ll be involved in every aspect of patient care — from intake to discharge — and play an integral role in both clinical and client-facing duties.
What You’ll Do
Clinical Support:
Assist with physical exams, diagnostics, surgical procedures, and emergency care
Monitor anesthesia and post-op recovery; maintain detailed surgical records
Administer medications, vaccines, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed
Perform blood draws, catheter placements, radiographs, urinalysis, fecal exams, and other diagnostics
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in our electronic system
Client Communication & Education:
Provide compassionate, clear, and professional communication to pet owners
Educate clients on post-treatment care, nutrition, medications, and follow-up protocols
Support client relationships that foster trust and long-term care
Facility & Team Support:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and surgical suites
Contribute to daily team huddles and workflow improvements
Help mentor junior staff and support a learning-focused environment
Participate in ongoing training, CE, and skill development
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a veterinary technician role required
Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring, surgical prep, radiology, and inpatient care
Excellent communication skills, empathy, and attention to detail
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while staying calm and organized
Passion for patient care, continuous learning, and strong team collaboration
