We’re currently seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated and compassionate team.

Schedule: Full- time opportunity. 4 x 8 hours or 4 x10 hours shifts with occasional weekends in our boarding facility.
Compensation: . The starting range for Veterinary Assistants is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field.

Provide compassionate care and handling of patients, including feeding, cleaning, and walking as needed
Support the veterinary team by assisting Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians with daily tasks and treatments
Maintain clean and organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and kennels
Prepare exam rooms for patient visits and assist during exams and procedures as directed
Ensure proper restraint of animals during exams or treatments
Assist with patient intake and discharge, including reviewing take-home instructions
Monitor and report changes in patients’ condition to the veterinary team
Qualifications:
A passion for animals and a desire to learn and grow in the veterinary field
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments
High school diploma or equivalent required
