VCA Alderwood Companion Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our Primary Care (GP) Hospital!

Compensation: $ 19.50 / hr

Schedule: Full-time at 30-40 hours a week. 4/9-10 hour days including Saturday.

Location: 19511 24th Ave W Lynnwood Wa 98036

Summary:  Our Veterinary Assistants support our veterinarians and technicians in all aspects of animal care by restraining our patients during physical exams, treatments, and procedures.  They are an advocate for our patients to ensure they receive the proper care in a safe and comfortable manner.

Providing support to the entire veterinary hospital staff Ensure there is a clean, comfortable environment for patients and clients Ensuring that treatment areas and exam rooms remain fully stocked Restrain animals during examinations or vaccinationsKeep accurate records and logsSterilize equipmentObserving patients for obvious signs of health concerns and reporting any findings to senior staffPlus so much more!
