**Position Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time **Veterinary Assistant** to join our team **full-time** . The ideal candidate will support our veterinarians and technicians in delivering top-notch medical care, ensuring the well-being of our patients, and maintaining a clean and organized facility.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Assist veterinarians and technicians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures.
+ Safely restrain animals for treatments and diagnostics.
+ Administer medications and vaccinations under supervision.
+ Collect and process laboratory samples (blood, urine, feces).
+ Perform basic diagnostic tests, including radiographs and blood tests.
+ Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
+ Educate clients on general animal care, nutrition, and post-treatment instructions.
+ Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of examination rooms, surgical areas, and kennels.
+ Manage inventory and order medical supplies as needed.
+ Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and answering phones.
**Schedule:** Full-time opportunity. Flexible scheduling, including evenings, and Saturdays.
**Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ 6+ months of experience in a veterinary setting.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
+ Genuine compassion for animals and their owners.
