404 Veterinary Emergency + Referral Hospital is currently welcoming two dependable and confident Veterinary Assistants to join our dynamic Emergency Department. These full-time opportunities include a range of responsibilities which directly attributes to the efficient and effective daily operation of the hospital. The primary responsibilities are to assist our veterinary team with various tasks and treatments. 

Key responsibilities:

Assist the team with various tasks and treatments in all areas of the hospital, primarily in the Emergency Department

Create a warm and welcoming environment for our clients

Create a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients through their nursing and husbandry

General housekeeping duties throughout the hospital to ensure the health and safety of our team and our patients

Willingness to learn more regarding; veterinary services, updated medical office procedures and assisting the Veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments dependent on service

Key attributes;

Compassion and nurturing attitude

Ability to remain calm in stressful situations

Ability to adapt in changing situations, takes direction and feedback in a constructive manner

Efficient in carrying out assignments independently

Takes initiative to complete various tasks throughout the day
