Job Description Join Our Client as a Vessel Operator – Drive Performance and Operational Excellence

Our client is looking for a dynamic and driven Vessel Operator to oversee every aspect of a vessel’s voyage — from planning and execution to successful closure.

As a Vessel Operator, you’ll be at the heart of commercial operations – ensuring voyages are safe, compliant, efficient, and profitable. You’ll work closely with the Chartering team, Masters, port agents, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless operations across global routes.

What You’ll Be Doing Lead the commercial operation of voyages from pre-fixture to post-fixture Collaborate with Chartering to ensure regulatory compliance and voyage readiness Optimize performance through strategic bunker planning and real-time voyage monitoring Coordinate with Technical Managers to maximize vessel availability and condition Maintain accurate Profit & Loss records and ensure prompt invoicing and fund collection Liaise with port agents, customers, brokers, and internal teams to ensure smooth port calls. Act as the key point of contact for voyage execution, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication What We’re Looking For Strong understanding of commercial shipping operations, preferably with tanker experience A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with excellent coordination skills Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and make confident decisions under pressure Attention to detail with financial acumen to maintain voyage profitability Team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Why Work With Our Client?
