Lineboat Vessel Manager – St. Louis, MO

Position Summary:

ADM is seeking a Vessel Manager to manage Line Boats at our American River Transportation Company (ARTCo) location in St. Louis, MO.Job Responsibilities:Responsible for the day-to-day safe and efficient operationsLeads all aspects of regular vessel housekeeping, maintenance and engineeringAssist Captains with administrative duties and compliance with Corporate programsLead vessel staffing, including hiring of vessel personnel; communicating areas of accountability and performance expectations; conducting employee evaluations and recommends promotions, transfers and dismissals; and employee trainingInsure vessels and crews compliance with environmental, safety and USCG regulationsAdditional duties and responsibilities as the need arises or requestedParticipate in safety and industry audits while promoting a culture of safetyJob Requirements:Promote the ADM Way and core ValuesAbility to lead a diverse teamAble to communicate with all levels of the organizationMust have a proven history of safe work behavior and a sincere desire to follow and improve upon safety policies and proceduresProficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, and WordExperience in logistics and/or planning preferredProblem solving and conflict resolutionCritical and creative thinkingDemonstrate time management and organization skillsAbility to coach, mentor, engage and develop workforceParticipate and lead strategic discussions and decisionsParticipate in continuous improvement projectsAbility to work extended hours, evenings, weekends and Holidays as needed.Current Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card required.
