Vertical Head - Security Management

Strategy & Initiatives:

Collaborate with Corporate Security to shape the security strategy for Adani Realty, establishing a security roadmap aligned with business goals.

Drive strategic projects with Site Heads to completion, ensuring alignment with security standards and business objectives.

Provide input to develop the Concept of Operations (CONOPS) to mitigate risks, and lead the implementation of security measures.

Security Policies:

Design and implement security policies and programs to protect people, infrastructure, and information; conduct periodic reviews to refine policies.

Collaborate with Group Security Head and Site Business Heads to cultivate a proactive, security-conscious culture across all functions.

Security Budgeting:

Approve and monitor security capital and operational budgets, conducting reviews with leadership on budget adherence.

Lead discussions with BU Heads on budget variances, addressing any overrun or deficit concerns.

Security Governance & Operations:

Functional Performance Review: Conduct monthly/ad-hoc reviews of security performance, tracking the progress of key security projects and initiatives.

Security Operations: Oversee patrolling, surveillance, access control, traffic management, and control room operations, implementing improvements as needed to enhance readiness.

Investigation & Due Diligence:

Investigate security incidents such as frauds and crimes, ensuring timely remedial action and thorough reporting to the Business Unit.

Share investigation reports with BU team members, ensuring key findings and actions are communicated effectively.

Security Risk & Crisis Management:

Security Risk Assessment & Audit: Oversee risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, evaluate security threats, and implement corrective actions post-audit.

Crisis Planning & Response: Develop crisis, disaster, and emergency response plans to enable resilience and business continuity.

Intelligence & Vigilance:

Build intelligence-gathering capabilities to pre-emptively identify security risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Foster relationships with law enforcement, government agencies, and media to maintain a flow of proactive intelligence.

Asset Protection:

Guide site teams in protecting both tangible and intangible assets, monitoring compliance and event security as per annual plans.

Performance Improvement:

Define and assess key metrics for business security performance, coordinating with the Group CSO.

Lead initiatives to address process gaps, improve efficiency, and foster process ownership within the security function.

People Management:

Promote a performance-driven culture, setting goals, reviewing performance, and offering feedback to maintain a motivated security team.

Support training and development interventions, evaluate training effectiveness, and manage talent development for a capable security team across Adani Realty

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree (any) and a postgraduate degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or relevant industrial security certifications.

Work Experience (Range of years):

15+ Years

Preferred Industry:

Extensive experience in security operations (access control, traffic management, asset protection), technology and automation initiatives, team management, stakeholder engagement, and compliance with national statutory requirements and labor laws.
