Role Overview:
Act as a Strategic Industry Account Manager for mainly our Renewable Energy customer base in North America, providing flawless communication between customer base and Regal RexnordPrimary liaison between the customer and our engineering, commercial & operations teamsManage all related Regal Rexnord IPS Division business related to new sales, service, and repairs within an assigned region, with a primary focus on Clutches & Brakes and Couplings products and services for Wind MROEstablish strategic plans, targets, and account plans in partnership with the Sales Directors to direct and support the efforts of achieving the overall quota.On-site visits to various plants in the renewable energy industries.Work with Regal Rexnord team to define growth opportunities in aftermarket markets for assigned region, measure progress to the plansProactively make contact and develop relationships with customers, define customer needs and requirements, and communicate solutions/optionsAnalyze, edit and process incoming requests for quotations and orders as neededHelp prepare formal quotations as neededCoordinate activities with Regional teamProvide updates & On-going training to the Strategic & Commercial management teams.Will have some direct target account ownership/responsibilityAssigned Annual Improvement Priorities (AIPs) by the Sales Directors. Communicate with various internal departments necessary to meet customer-required dates
Education and Skill Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or other similar technical degree is preferredKnowledge of mechanical power transmission products requiredExperience selling aftermarket products is requiredPrevious engineering or other technical work experience in the services/repair industry is preferredIdeally, our candidate will live in the North Central or South-Central regions of the United States, but we are open to additional locations5 years Commercial / technical sales experience preferredProficiency with basic PC, CRM and Microsoft Office functionsExcellent written communication skillsWillingness to travel 40-50%$120,000 + 30% SICP bonus. The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, the geographic market of that location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons among other potential factors.
