Job Description

We are looking for dynamic and passionate individuals to join our Front of House teams for our Vermillion Room.

Available Opportunities Include:

Sever HostFood Porter

Starting Rate: $16.55 per hour - $17.86 per hour, this is dependent on the position.

We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years.

Availability Requirement - These are seasonal positions start June to October 31st 

What you will be doing: 

Server: 

Maintain quality and timeliness of service and practice effective up selling and suggestive selling techniques to drive outlet revenueMaintain accurate billing, cash handling and float procedures

Host:

Complete Daily Operations (i.e. opening and closing duties, daily cleaning, dining room preparation, moving and arranging tables and chairs, reservation bookings, confirmations and cancellations, coordinating FOH and BOH with regards to services, guests, allergies, VIPs, etc.)Meet, greet and seat guests and maintain daily floor plans to suit forecasted guest and staffing levels

Food Porter:

Transporting food from the kitchen to the dining room in a quick and efficient wayAssist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

Must have Pro-Serve Certification for Alberta prior to your start datePrevious experience in a high-volume and fast paced hospitality environment is preferred (experience required is dependent on position)POS system experience an assetKnowledge of the hospitality industry, with a love for all things food and drinkSchedule flexibility, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidaysMust be able to lift and carry up to 40+lbs and be able to be on your feet for 8 hours or more
