Venues Sales Manager

Iconic 598-room Hilton Sydney is located steps from Town Hall station and the QVB Light Rail stop and amongst our operations we are home to one of the largest Conferencing and Event spaces in the city, glass brasserie, Zeta Bar and heritage listed Marble Bar. As the Venues Sales Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating all reservations and functions/events in Marble Bar, Zeta Bar, and glass brasserie. Your role will be to promote, sell and control the events for all event operating outlet teams from initial enquiry to contracting. Be able to efficiently qualify and sell the Hotel for events in our outlet spaces. Build up powerful customer relationships that deliver new and repeat business to increase revenue and demand. You will be responsible for maximising revenue and creating a memorable guest experience by ensuring our guests receive seamless service from the moment an enquiry is made.

What will I be doing?

\n\nHandle all incoming events leads professionally through all channels, maximising conversion of leads and bookings\nConduct informative site inspections and menu tastings with organisers and contractors\nBuild relationships with clients and develop an understanding of their needs and requirements and provide solutions to match in order for a successful event\nLiaise, support and effectively communicate organisers on site requirements to the operations teams\nRespond to and secure all reservation enquires through all channels e.g. by phone and or online channels\nDemonstrate exemplary menu & product knowledge and to keep up to date with industry trends and developments\nLiaise with the marketing team to drive marketing plans to promote glass Brasserie, Marble Bar and Zeta Bar\nHandle all incoming events leads professionally through all channels, maximizing conversion of leads and bookings\nIssue weekly event orders making sure allergies, special requests and event set up is included.\nPrepare event orders in a timely manner, in accordance with operations rostering and to a high level of detail and accuracy\nOffer service to guests with a sales attitude that will assist with the maximisation of revenue\n\n
