Come join a career you can grow in and a culture you can run with. **Overview** The Vendor Supervisor is a key operational role responsible for driving performance, compliance, and alignment between internal stakeholders and offshore vendor teams. This fast-paced, detail-oriented, and high-caliber position reports directly to the Vendor Operations Director and plays a critical role in optimizing operational efficiency and supporting business objectives. As the primary liaison to offshore leadership, the Vendor Supervisor ensures the successful execution of daily operations through consistent coordination, action planning, performance monitoring, and adherence to contractual and departmental standards. This role is also accountable for ensuring vendor adherence to design department policies and procedures, managing queue performance, and facilitating regional stakeholder direction. The Vendor Supervisor collaborates closely with internal business areas and Vendor Specialists to support service delivery and strategic goals across assigned vendor teams. **Responsibilities** + Lead and mentor internal and vendor teams to ensure successful achievement of objectives and alignment with departmental goals. + Serve as the primary point of communication with Vendor Operations Leadership, Vendor Specialists, and assigned area Managers, ensuring proactive, effective, and consistent communication across all parties. + Delegate responsibilities among internal and vendor team members to ensure adequate support and guidance in line with business needs. + Manage and coordinate vendor workflows across multiple vendors, ensuring execution against defined metrics and service level agreements (SLAs). + Facilitate weekly vendor meetings to review performance metrics, share feedback, address challenges, set goals, and provide training or guidance as needed. + Coordinate project-related communications and ensure alignment among internal stakeholders, installation branches, and external vendors. + Provide timely responses to escalations and ensure appropriate resolution tracking and follow-up with internal teams. + Attend relevant internal and branch meetings to maintain alignment and support cross-functional collaboration. + Maintain effective interdepartmental coordination and manage clear, timely communication with vendors, including weekly bulletins and tool updates. + Support and troubleshoot issues related to vendor tools and systems. + Plan and lead regular vendor business reviews (MBR, QBR, YBR), including the preparation of materials and performance reporting. + Develop and maintain volume and capacity commitment documentation in collaboration with leadership. + Reconcile vendor invoices, provide feedback, and coordinate with administrative teams as needed. + Maintain accurate forecasting data to support operational planning and performance. + Lead or participate in scrubs and data clean-up efforts when required. + Partner with Vendor Relations team members to drive consistency and best practices in vendor management. + Collaborate with leadership and analytics teams to produce actionable vendor reports. + Deliver weekly vendor scorecards to Vendor Operations and departmental leadership, highlighting key performance indicators. + Manage the onboarding, training, and deactivation of vendors, ensuring compliance with IT security guidelines and operational standards. + Provide in-depth coaching and continuous process updates to vendor teams. + Work with the training department to develop or enhance vendor training programs, identifying and addressing knowledge gaps. + Hold vendors accountable to agreed-upon performance standards and invoicing criteria. + Create and manage Salesforce reports to monitor vendor quality, SLA compliance, and volume metrics. + Partner with assigned area Managers to improve vendor performance and support Objective Key Results (OKRs). + Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned by leadership. **Qualifications** + Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Vendor Specialist or in a similar vendor management roleORMinimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership position + Bachelor's degree in an engineering field preferred, but not required + Extensive background in solar design and strong understanding of related workflows + Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment + Demonstrated team leadership skills and the ability to mentor others + Experience in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) environments or project management + Solid understanding of the residential construction process + Strong adaptability with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude toward change + Detail-oriented mindset with natural curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving + High level of initiative and a strong drive to succeed and lead others + Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface effectively across engineering, construction, and customer-facing teams + Proficiency in drafting and AutoCAD + Advanced proficiency in Excel, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), and Salesforce **Recruiter:** Laura Morgan (laura.morgan@sunrun.com) _Please note that the compensation information is made in good faith for this position only_ . _It assumes that the successful candidate will be located in markets within the United States that warrant the compensation.
