Description We are seeking a dynamic, experienced and talented Vendor Manager to accelerate growth in Selection for our Lifestyles Category at Amazon MX. As a Vendor Manager for Selection, you will be responsible for developing, engaging and managing strategic partnerships. You are an experienced, successful and highly professional business manager with a set of well-established relationships with brands in the Home/Kitchen/Furniture industry and have a proven track record of creating successful strategic partnerships. You will advocate internally and externally on behalf of Amazon with proven analytical capabilities and project management skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task and a proven record of driving category growth. This role requires an effective driver and communicator in working with some of Amazon.com.mx most important existing and future brands as well as internal colleagues and cross-functional leaders. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a high level of flexibility and commitment. In this role you will be expected to leverage your existing relationships as well as build new relationship with Lifestyle brands. You must be able to work at a strategic level, generating new partnerships opportunities with senior executives to drive revenue and increase selection. You are up to date and deep on trends and understand how 1P and 3P fits into the online ecosystem. This position requires an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to influence a diverse set of stakeholders across multiple teams. Using your deep knowledge of retail and a solution -oriented mindset, you will develop strategic opportunities for Lifestyles business at Amazon MX. This role requires an excellent oral and written communicator that possesses an analytical approach to business development, leveraging data to drive decisions. You are highly organized and can work closely and constructively cross-functional teams. You are particularly adept at developing strong, one-to-one relationships and possess a track record of successful negotiations. Key job responsibilities · Communicates effectively with C-suite level executives in the Lifestyles brand space. · Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments combined with strong commercial and business instincts. · Experience managing the sales funnel and closing new business through strategic partnerships and negotiations. · Acts as the primary contact for those relationships ensuring maximum Vendor satisfaction. · Proven self-starter with a bias for action who can make things happen when faced with ambiguity. · Innovative thinker who looks around corners and thinks "outside the box". · Experience of working cross-functionally in a very collaborative environment.
