The purpose of the Vendor Management Director is to develop partnerships with the internal execution teams within Facility Management and suppliers to ensure suppliers are effectively executing services. This role manages a team that supports training, governance, communications, forecasting, and data management within the work order system.Job Description

Leads a team that reinforces and maintains standards, processes and templates that support the delivery of vendor management activitiesDrives innovation and process improvement to reduce costs and improve performanceContinuous Improvement
Champions, and implements continuous improvement opportunities in Vendor Management’s processes, procedures and systemsEscalates and communicates proposed process changesCore Responsibilities

Education:
Bachelor’s degreePrevious Experience:
Must have at least 10 years of relevant experience in a corporate procurement roleProven experience in a leadership role building executive relationships and influencing strategyTargeted Competencies

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
