Vendor Governance Manager
**What You'll Do** We’re looking for an experienced **Vendor Governance Manager** to join our Business Risk & Controls team! In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in working with all business lines in RIS to oversee all aspects of the vendor management lifecycle for all RIS engagements. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in vendor governance, compliance and risk management who enjoys working cross-functionally and has excellent leadership capabilities. You’ll also have the opportunity to… + Develop and maintain vendor governance policies, procedures, and standards. + Provide vendor governance training and awareness programs for business units. + Partner with various departments (IT, Legal, Compliance, and business units) on vendor governance requirements. + Monitor current practices against industry benchmarks and implement required changes as needed. + Assist with projects, process reviews and/or system enhancements that support initiatives. + Establish relationships with and respond to engagement requests from internal partners + Educate, mentor, and train team members and internal staff on first line risk management with a focus on but not limited to the effective management of providers, vendors and business partners recognizing privacy risk exposures, unethical, unlawful, or inappropriate business practices, fraud mitigation and complaint handling. Our mission, integrity, and customer focus have made us a trusted leader for more than 140 years! **Who You Are** + 6+ years of immediate experience in vendor governance or related field. + 2+ years of leadership experience with the ability to influence team members and business partners. + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred. + Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner with excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Must be able to accomplish goals and objectives of first line risk management in vendor governance, including but not limited to building best practices as well as policies and procedures. + Ability to educate, mentor, and train team members and internal staff on first line risk management with a focus on but not limited to vendor governance, fraud mitigation, complaints handling/escalations, protection of privacy information and recognizing unethical, unlawful, or inappropriate business practices. + Demonstrated commitment to holding self and others to a high degree of integrity, building and sustaining strong partnerships with leadership, peers, and colleagues. + Financial services/Banking vendor governance background a plus. + Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and customer service skills required. + Must be able to work with complex, ambiguous information, maintain high level of confidentiality and use good judgment related to sensitive matters. **Salary Range Information** Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. **Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)** $81900 - $147600 / year **Time Off Program** Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided. **Pension Eligible** Yes **Additional Information** **Work Environments** This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA or Charlotte, NC).
