Job Description Vendor Governance & Contract Management Lead plays a critical role in transforming Globe’s partner engagement model into a proactive and strategic function. This role focuses on aligning vendor capabilities with business transformation priorities, managing contractual risk, and ensuring high-performance delivery through strategic collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.

Strategic Vendor Management

Reframe partner management from reactive monitoring to strategic co-ownership.

Align partner capabilities and commitments with Globe’s transformation priorities and delivery expectations.

Partnership Strategy & Rationalization

Lead segmentation and rationalization of the partner ecosystem.

Support long-term strategic partnerships while ensuring flexibility and cost-effectiveness.

Contract Lifecycle & Commercial Risk Management

Track contract milestones, renewals, and expansions with visibility into risks and dependencies.

Strengthen contract discipline and surface renewal risks and renegotiation opportunities early.

Internal Collaboration & Alignment

Act as a key coordination point across ISG, Legal, Procurement, Finance, and Business Units.

Ensure contract and partner structures remain aligned to Globe’s evolving delivery and sourcing models.

Performance Monitoring & Escalation

Participate in formal partner performance reviews and escalation mechanisms.

Monitor vendor health and flag issues or risks requiring executive action.

Core Deliverables

Partner Value Scorecards: Regularly updated performance dashboards tracking SLA compliance, innovation delivery, and value realization.

Regular/Quarterly Strategic Partner Briefs: Insight packs for CIO, Strategy, and Domain leads showing partner performance, contract movements, risks, and opportunities.

Partner Segmentation and Rationalization Plan: A working model categorizing vendors by strategic value, performance, and cost alignment, with recommendations for action.

Contract & Renewal Milestone Tracker: Dashboard of key contract dates and dependencies, tied to action plans for renegotiation, transition, or extension.

Vendor Performance Database & Governance Logs: Central repository of performance data, meeting notes, escalations, and key decisions to support structured governance

Educational Background

Bachelor's Degree in preferred fields: Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or related disciplines.

Advanced Education (Preferred): MBA or a Master’s Degree in a related field is a strong advantage, especially with a focus on strategic management, contract law, or procurement.

Work Experience

Strategic Vendor Management: 3+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or strategic sourcing roles, preferably in the telecommunications or technology sector.

Contract Lifecycle Management: Hands-on experience in managing contract lifecycles, including renewals, renegotiations, and risk assessment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven track record of working with diverse teams, including Legal, Procurement, Finance, and Operations, to align partner structures with business needs.

Performance Monitoring & Governance: 5+ years of experience in vendor performance tracking and governance frameworks, including SLA compliance and issue escalation.

Leadership in Strategic Planning: Demonstrated ability to lead partnership rationalization, segmentation, and ecosystem optimization initiatives.

Must-Have Skills

Analytical Skills: Ability to develop actionable insights from vendor performance data, governance logs, and partner value scorecards.

Commercial Acumen: Expertise in assessing commercial risks and opportunities tied to contract dependencies and milestones.

Project Management: Experience in managing multiple contracts and vendor relationships simultaneously.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with technology-enabled sourcing models and trends in telecommunications.

Negotiation Expertise: Skilled in negotiating contract terms that align with organizational goals and ensure cost-effectiveness.

Strategic Communication: Experience in preparing and presenting insights to senior leadership, including quarterly briefs and strategic dashboards.
