Vendor Flex Setup & Launch, External Fulfillment
Description EF encompasses various programs where Amazon collaborates with Sellers and Vendors to ship products from their warehouses. Vendor Flex (VF) is an operation similar to an Amazon Fulfillment Center (FC), located within a vendor's warehouse in a designated, isolated area. This allows Amazon VF to deliver packages with the same speed and quality of service as an Amazon FC. The Set Up and Launch (SUL) specialist will be responsible for launching new VF operations within vendors' warehouses. This role requires the ability to work across disciplines, organizations, and geographies, translating complex technical and operational concepts for diverse audiences. Success in this position demands big-picture thinking, agility, and adaptability in a dynamic environment. Prior experience in program management and hands-on operations is essential. Key job responsibilities Manage launch governance from start to finish, using effective methodologies, tools, and communication skills. Analyze long-term operations to identify optimal layouts for VF packaging and systems. Coordinate with stakeholders across different areas to ensure seamless launches. Provide on-site training for new operations. Solve problems by evaluating alternatives and identifying innovative, cost-effective solutions. A day in the life Collaborate with teams across Amazon (e.g., Operations, Supply Chain Planning, Retail. Technology) to define project requirements. Manage project implementation, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed. Work closely with team members to facilitate vendor adaptation to the network. Basic Qualifications - High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree - 1+ years of program or project management experience - 1+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience - 1+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience - Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree - 1+ years of driving process improvements experience - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - Experience building processes, project management, and schedules - English B2Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
