Summary
Product System Architect is responsible for performing design, development and support of existing and new products architectures. Is developing architectural and design principles to improve performance, capacity, and scalability of product.
Major Responsibilities:
Plans and monitors SYS.3 work planned for all product releases and program increments (PIs)Analyzes and structures system capabilities and features based on the system requirementsAnalyzes and documents system design alternativesAligns architecture strategies with Project/Platform OwnerAligns system architecture with the stakeholdersAllocates system requirements of any given product release to physical and logical architecture elements in advance of scheduled feature development for that releaseResponsible for architecture tool chainDefinition of logical and physical product system architecture and actively driving integration of SW, HW and ME by defining and aligning logical & physical interfacesDefines system interfaces (internal and external)Defines CPE/CQE tester designStakeholder of the Program Increment planning, system demos and retrospectivesSupport of:
Supports system FMEASupports the Product System Safety Architect on the Technical Safety Concept developmentDefines the system architecture strategies and SYS.3 part of System & Software Development Plan (SSDP)Develops the Product System Architecture & DesignDecides about technology usageDefines the Product naming convention, such as system component, parameter and signal names (used in SYS.3 and all of downstream engineering (SW/HW))Qualifications and Education Requirements
BS /MS Electronics or software related field5 + years professional experience in Consumer Electronics or Automotive IndustryProven record of taking customer requirements from design to productionFamiliarity with microprocessor/DSP based hardware designs, and Software Architectures for automotive designsFamiliarity with development in the embedded environmentStrong analytic and problem-solving skillsThe ability to communicate complex ideas succinctly and persuasively to peers, management and customersSelf-motivated, well organized, flexible, works well with complex issuesAbility to multi-task and work in team environmentExcellent Leadership skillsPassionate about creating innovation cutting-edge automotive safety productsAptiv Rewards and Advantages
