Job Title: Vehicle Engineer Job Description We are seeking a talented and experienced Vehicle Engineer to act as a technical expert during vehicle launches. This role involves coordinating and leading project activities, including new equipment installation and supplier selection. The successful candidate will work closely with teams in Korea and the USA to ensure a successful vehicle launch. Responsibilities + Serve as a technical expert for the assigned area during vehicle launches. + Coordinate and lead project activities, including new equipment installation, supplier selection, and implementation phases. + Prepare specification packages by reviewing requirements such as quality, safety, UPH, layout, and ergonomics. + Communicate with the Advanced Vehicle Manufacturing Engineering Team in Korea and other R&D teams in Korea/USA. + Host video conferences for new vehicle design improvements and status follow-up meetings. + Prepare Assembly Process Sheets considering method and line conditions with detailed pictures and text. + Explain work content through pictures drawn in the workers' position according to work content, work order, and work status. + Check the workability and quality for vehicle assembly. + Verify vehicle drawings, including tightening hardware, torque, and vehicle dimensions, and design work processes as per assembly sequence. + Determine man-hours based on MODAPTS and optimize allocation. + Analyze and continuously improve the performance of the assigned area concerning safety, quality, production, cost, and human factors. + Management. + Serve as a technical expert for Team Members and Team Leaders, providing technical training as required. + Support daily production issues as required. + Continually review technical developments in the area of responsibility and propose new technology projects as appropriate. + Prepare presentations/reports on current projects, progress, and issues to management. + Understand and control labor allocation. + Perform multi-tasks with multiple priorities within a designated time frame. Essential Skills + Proficiency in assembly processes within the automotive industry. + Bilingual communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in coordinating and leading project activities. + Ability to prepare detailed specification packages. + Experience in hosting and managing video conferences. + Strong analytical skills for performance improvement.
