Veeam Backup & Recovery Consultant

About the Role:

We are hiring a dedicated Veeam Consultant to support our growing backup and recovery service portfolio. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in high-availability environments, who has delivered scalable data protection solutions and has working knowledge of cloud infrastructure and backup architecture.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and manage Veeam Backup & Replication solutions across virtual, physical, and cloud workloads Develop and maintain backup policies, including immutability, retention, and recovery testing Optimize and troubleshoot backup infrastructure, including performance tuning and health checks Plan and execute disaster recovery simulations and real-world restore operations Provide clear technical documentation, client training, and handovers Work with Azure environments to support IaaS VM protection, recovery, and integration  

Requirements:

3+ years’ experience managing Veeam environments in an MSP or large-scale IT environment Strong understanding of: Veeam Backup & Replication (virtual, physical, cloud) Backup infrastructure scalability and DR readiness Immutable storage best practices (on-prem and cloud) Azure IaaS VM architecture, backup, and recovery workflows Bonus: Familiarity with Microsoft 365 backup, Veeam monitoring/reporting tools, and automation using PowerShell.
