Job Description
This role involves providing models and documentation necessary to complete project scopes as determined by VDC/BIM leadership and project teams. The specialist will assemble 3D content modeled by others and create models for any missing content. Maintaining a productive and efficient BIM process and clear project documentation is essential.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble 3D content modeled by others and model any missing content.Maintain a productive and efficient BIM process.Create and maintain clear and effective project documentation, including meeting agendas, minutes, and constraint logs.Support operations with the RFI process for BIM-related items.Maintain working relationships with subcontractors and project teams.Learn and apply VDC processes and standards to assigned projects.Read and comprehend construction documents and project BIM requirements.Incorporate design updates into project models.Analyze construction documents and models for errors and omissions, making corrections as necessary.Support operations with self-perform model management and layout.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree, preferably in a construction or related field.2+ years of construction or related experience.2+ years of BIM-related experience.Proficiency in executing structural design within AutoCAD as well as Revit in a construction capacity.Proficiency utilizing Tekla for concrete and structural applications.
Additional Skills & QualificationsDemonstrated expertise in managing VDC processes for self-performed concrete projects.Practical experience in modeling, detailing, and managing concrete work within a self-perform environment.Ability to perform work accurately, completely, and promptly.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in MS Office.Work Environment
This position is based in an office environment. The company is recognized as the 8th largest national contractor, providing a dynamic and supportive work setting.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.21 - $48.08/hr.
