VC Controller
Description A leading early-stage venture capital firm with over $500M in assets under management is seeking a strategic and hands-on Controller to join its growing team. Known for backing visionary founders in enterprise AI, digital health, and industrial automation, the firm offers a collaborative and fast-paced environment for professionals eager to make a meaningful impact in the venture ecosystem. This is a unique opportunity for a finance leader ready to take ownership of fund operations and grow into a future CFO role. The Controller will work directly with the founding partners and external stakeholders, playing a key role in financial strategy, reporting, and fund administration. Requirements Qualifications + 5–10+ years of accounting/finance experience, ideally in venture capital or private equity + Strong understanding of fund accounting, GAAP, and partnership structures + Experience working with fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisors + Professional, proactive, and confident in founder-driven environments + CPA preferred; venture capital or fund experience required + Long-term ambition to scale into a CFO role Excited about this role?
