Vault Teller (Mornings)

Legends ASM Global is seeking a Vault Teller to assist in Premier Food Services' cash operations at the Del Mar Fairgrounds & Racetrack. This early-morning role typically starts around 7:00am, Thursday through Sunday, from July 18th through September 7th.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Build cash banks: count bills, roll coins, strap currency, and prepare for distribution.
+ Distribute cash banks to each stand worker and bartender, verifying balances and totals correctly at all times.
+ Count and balance the vault; complete deposit tickets and run reconcilement sheets.
+ Maintain a clean, organized work area.
+ Occasionally run change to different locations in the building.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.Must be able to pass a background check.Cash-handling experience preferred..Dependable and punctual. Morning reliability is critical.Able to lift/carry up to 25 pounds, move, walk, stand, and sit for long periods.Fluent in English with excellent verbal communication skills.Strong math ability to accurately count and handle money at all times.
Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or GED required. At least 1 year of cash-handling experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities
Must be able to work assigned shifts, including early-morning hours, Thursdays through Sundays.
Work independently, exercising good judgment and initiative.
Follow all oral and written instructions, including company policies, procedures, safety precautions, and emergency protocols.
Maintain strict organization of cash by rolling coins and strapping currency.
Computer Skills
Some experience in Windows and Microsoft Office preferred.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility; stand for long hours during events; talk and hear clearly. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, depending on event needs.
Compensation
The compensation for this position ranges from $20 to $22 per hour, depending on experience.
