Your Role:
Prepare VAT returns for multiple jurisdictions in EMEA
Prepare standard Intrastat reports, EC Sales List and other VAT related reports if required
Ensure accuracy and timely reporting of VAT
Perform VAT related reconciliations
Participate in transitions to shared services
Support other functions in the area of VAT, for example in relation to tax audits and management reporting
Cooperate with finance and tax staff as well as external service providers,
Participate in design and implementing standardized procedures and continuous improvement projects in the EMEA Region
Assistance on the ERP systems modifications to reflect changes both in legislation and business transactions
Your Background:
Minimum 3 year experience in VAT and accounting (preferably in a shared services or multinational company)
SAP/Oracle working knowledge
Advanced Excel user
Good command of English
Fast learner with proactive approach to adopt changes
Bachelor or Master’s Degree in either of the following areas: Finance/Tax/Accounting/Economics or certified accountant degree/ tax advisor
Good command of other European language
SAP tax settings skills
Experience in SharePoint administration
