As a VAT Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting VAT compliance procedures in the EMEA region. The Brno VAT team consists today of 14 young people, who are not only colleagues, but like to spend time together outside work as well. Team has been steadily growing in last years and is expected to continue growing further in the future.

What will be your RESPONSIBILITIES?

Preparing VAT returns, EC Sales/Purchase Listings, Control statements, Intrastat returns and other related reports for many European countries. #DataWillBeYourWorldBeing VAT expert for other internal finance teams and guide them through the VAT worldCooperating with tax advisors and other relevant stakeholdersBeing part of various finance projects to ensure proper tax treatmentSupporting internal and external audits

What do we EXPECT from you?

Tax or finance experience from university or previous job. Students are also welcomed!Fluent English as you will be communicating with foreign colleagues on daily basisUser knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel should be your friend JStrong sense of responsibility, good time management and analytical thinkingAbility to introduce own ideasBe able to work independently on assigned task as well as cooperate within the teamSecond foreign language and SAP/Oracle knowledge is an advantage
