By joining PPMC, you get the best of both worlds and a genuine commitment to your professional growth and development. **Job Summary:** The Vascular Technologist is responsible for performing all modes of vascular studies, providing physicians with verbal/preliminary reports, conducting daily cleaning/maintenance of machines and scanning areas, assisting in keeping supplies well stocked, providing patient care in a compassionate manner. **Position Description:** • Conducts ultrasound testing, both in the lab and portable testing. • Assists in machine maintenance and cleaning. • Assists in keeping patients aware of their study and/or transport status. • Assists in helping to keep other technologists aware of patient needs. • Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures • Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization **Minimum Requirements:** • Must be able to perform all noninvasive arterial, venous, carotid and abdominal aorta testing. • Renal, Mesenteric and Hepatic/Portal vascular duplex as well as transcranial Doppler experience preferred. • Vascular internship required • High School/ GED equivalent Required • Associate's degree - Ultrasonography preferred • Graduation from an accredited Ultrasound program is required. • Must obtain RVT credentials/ARDMS registration within one year of date of hire.
