Vascular Technologist - League City Campus (M-F 7:30am to 4:00pm) **League City, Texas, United States** **New** Allied Health UTMB Health Requisition # 2503174 **_REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:_** + Must meet one of the three following educational/experience requirements pluscurrent BLS certification: + Satisfactory completion of a formal vascular technology training program (1-4 years) must be registry eligible with application for current year – or – + Graduate from a diagnostic ultrasound training program (2-4 years) with 1 full additional year of full-time clinical experience in a dedicated vascular lab and registry eligible with application for current year – or – + Approximately two years of college with emphasis on the biological sciences with two years experience in a dedicated vascular laboratory and registry eligible with application for current year. + Certified as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or registry eligible with application in current year. **_JOB SUMMARY:_** This position works under limited supervision to provide advanced technical skills in the performance of non-invasive tests used in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease.
