Job Description:
We are looking for a VAS Architect who will be responsible for the design, development and integration of Modern Workplace services and the solutions for external clients for their business needs including technology, service delivery and commercial aspects.
You will serve as trusted advisor to internal and/or external clients for understanding the business/technical problem/need, translating them to, shaping and/or validating requirements and scope for the solution. You will also serve as a technical expert on solutions design (HLD,LLD), development, and implementation requirements to address business needs. It would be beneficial if you Posses analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a strong understanding of the capabilities that DXC and partners provide. The employee will be responsible for sizing and costing of the architected solution, responsible for documenting the solution and obtaining internal governance approval for its deliverability and issue to customer, ensuring the technical delivery solution aligns to the commercial aspects of client engagement (SOWs, project plans etc.) and presenting the solution to client and serve as trusted advisor to establish client confidence.
Essential Job Functions:
• Act as architectural lead for projects, ensuring architectural deliverables (HLD, LLD) support project requirements and timelines.
• Collaborate with other architects and project teams to deliver technical solutions that align with architectural standards.
• Participate in the definition and implementation of architectural standards and guidelines.
• Provide technical guidance for projects, helping to resolve complex issues that arise during build and implementation.
• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that enhance efficiency and business goals.
• Foster collaboration within the team and with cross-functional groups.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Oversee the successful completion of architectural deliverable for projects.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 7+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role years of experience in technology, including technical leadership roles
• In depth knowledge of Moder Workplace technologies such as: Exchange, Office365, SharePoint, Desktop OS, Citrix, MS Team and collaboration tools. Good knowledge of VAS and VDI is essential.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills
• Effective communication and team collaboration abilities
• Relevant cloud certifications or advanced training
• Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional teams
• Proven success in implementing cloud solutions in an enterprise environment
• Successful management of complex cloud architecture projects
• Continuous learner that stays abreast with industry and technology
Due to the customer requirements successful applicants must be eligible for high level UK Security clearance.
