What will you do? Make an impact!

Collect clinical waste from sites like dentists and doctors' surgeries in a safe, professional, and compliant manner.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Drive safely, following road laws and ADR regulations
•    Use PDA to log collections accurately
•    Complete all paperwork and hand it in at the end of your shift
•    Conduct vehicle checks and report any defects or near misses
•    Keep your vehicle clean, tidy, and refuelled
•    Wear the correct PPE and uniform at all times
•    Communicate any issues or delays promptly
•    Work well with the team and attend briefings when required
•    Follow all site rules and waste segregation procedures

Do you have what it takes?

•    Excellent communication skills 
•    Experience of driving a 3.5tn or larger vehicle 

 

Desirable Skills: 

 

•    ADR qualified 
•    Experience in handling Waste (Clinical & Hazardous desirable) 
•    Use of hand held devises i.e. PDA 

 

Knowledge: 

•    Good knowledge Road Traffic Laws 
•    Knowledge of the UK road network 
•    Knowledge of NHS contracts (desirable ) 
•    Good knowledge of the waste industry (Clinical & Hazardous waste desirable).
