Are you ready to help us make the future? Honeywell Hymatic is currently recruiting to fill a new and exciting opportunity within a Defense and Space operations at Redditch. This Value Stream Leader offers a broad scope to oversee a low volume complex manufacturing product line from end to end. Our products are used in high performance sensing & detector systems in the demanding and often harsh environments of defence and space applications. This position will be working at Honeywell Hymatic in Redditch, who celebrated 88 years of trading in 2025. Our normal working hours (total 37 hours per week) are: Mon to Thu 8 till 17.00 (with a paid morning break and 45 minute Lunch break) Fri 8 till 12.00 (with a paid morning break) + Meet production targets and maintain high standards of quality and safety + Lead and develop a team of production operators + Oversee employee development + Oversee and manage the production operations within the small team, ensuring smooth and efficient processes + Optimize resource utilization and minimize downtime + Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence + Maintain supply of direct and indirect parts, working with our established supply chain, giving an opportunity to develop purchasing skills. + Oversee and conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical inventory with system records. + Supervisory experience in a Production/Manufacturing environment + Ability to motivate and lead by example. + Strong communication skills and ability to influence others. + Scheduling and time management skills + Effective interpersonal skills + Flexibility & Team player attributes, willing to adapt to daily challenges & demands within a small team environment. + Basic understanding in lean manufacturing.
