Expectations and Tasks: Collaborate and work with customers to link their business strategy and business outcomes to the experiences they want to enable to the business capabilities that are needed. Focus on Line of Business (LOB) or Industry and pursues either path at SAP based on the requirements of the business and SAP customers. Define and articulate SAP’s executive value selling vision and strategy for LOB or Industry. Oversee and provide executive consultation to customers and prospects to build solutions to achieve business goals and create value through a holistic model. Provide guidance to enable Sales, Marketing, Inside Sales and the broader Virtual Account Teams on LOB or Industry Trends. Partner with field sales teams to identify revenue opportunities, manage the development of account strategies and plans to maximize customer lifetime value. Lead in the creation of customer-centric executive positioning/point of views to excite customer to collaborate with SAP. Coach Virtual Account Team to deliver executive pitch reflecting value proposition for LOB or Industry and knowledge of SAP portfolio Customer Engagement to Deliver Revenue for LOB or Industry/Industries. Guide Sales and Virtual Account Team strategy to focus on Vision to Value creation during customer journey. Act as trusted strategic advisor to nurture customer executive relationships. Lead and orchestrate structured engagements and navigate a matrix organization. Position and lead SAP’s engagements to build the case-for-change enabled by SAP solutions. Use techniques such as design thinking, interviews and process benchmarking to explore new business models and discover value opportunities. Oversee and validate the value potential and ROI of SAP-enabled transformation. Embed experience thinking into all collaborative customer discussions. Engage with sponsors to continually make the case for change. Coach account team to ensure compelling industry and value messages are delivered in deliverables such as RFP Responses, Value Propositions, Points-of-View (PoV), Product Demos. Provide guidance to customer executives to build and deliver board-level justification documents (case for change) for approval of multi-million transformation projects enabled by our software. Coach delivery teams from SAP and Partners to validate business case and secure value delivery to customer based on understanding of implementation dynamics. Collaborate with Customer Engagement and Experience (CE&X) teams to monitor and guide the progress selected customers are making in their SAP enabled transformations. Lead the buildout and curation of value proposition content aligned to end to end processes (i.e. Lead to Cash, Record to Report) and key personas (Customer Experience for Sales, Service, Marketing, Human Resources, Intelligent Spend Management, CFO, CHRO, Head of Supply Chain, CIO) across the Intelligent Enterprise. Value proposition content includes PoV templates, business case templates, value models. Engage in practice development projects showcasing LOB or Industry expertise based on customer engagements and other field experience. Share insights/thought leadership across all relevant channels including social channels. Nurture and deliver customer reference stories that showcase actual proof points/value creation. Mentor junior team members. Participate in enablement programs, community of practices, and Hubs to share knowledge. Education and Occupational Experience: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field of study and seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience: Experience must involve five (5) years in the following: + Business Consulting or Business Value Advisor with accountability for a client’s transformation outcomes; + Utilizing process automation and mining and management technology (SAP Signavio or competitor solutions) for continuous value creation; + Client Relationship, Stakeholder and Change Management; + Connecting business and IT transformation to implement in a process oriented fashion; and + Advising C-Level and Management Consulting. Travel: Position requires up to 30% domestic and international travel to various and unanticipated customer sites for customer meetings. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $194,100 - $330,000. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
