Principle Responsibilities:

Maintain Product Quality and positive yieldsMonitor SSOP both shifts and record findingsMaintain JBS 5s expectations in production area and officeMonitor Metal & Chemical Control processes and record findingsVerify shift cleanup has been performed and meets cleanliness expectationsSet up records for the next production day with accurate informationComplete daily records with accurate information with real time dataManage supply costsVerify all processes dailyVerify product labels are printed with accurate date and informationVerify all product packaging dailyVerify all product meets customer specificationsVerify knives, scabbards and knife box is maintaining in a sanitary manner, record findingsPerform daily quality audits and record the findingsPerform daily cart tare verificationPerform daily leaker auditsSupport supervisor with daily processes and replace TM as neededPerform all data entry dailyFill in for supervisor during absenceFile daily recordsSupport the business unit needs and fill in during staffing absence

Qualifications:

Requirements:

Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalency required

Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in a food manufacturing plant or similar.

Working Conditions:

Cold and fast paced environmentAbility to stand and walk for long periods of timeSchedule M-F and weekends when needed

The MAP process is a part of the Plainwell ground beef operation. Plainwell is also one of the few plants that produces ground beef patties. Over one million lbs (450,000 kg) of beef are produced each day. The Plainwell facility produces biogas in an anaerobic lagoon and uses it in place of natural gas to heat a portion of the water used in the plant. The facility was recognized by the American Meat Institute as a Tier 3 facility for its accomplishments with ISO 14001.
