TITLE: Validation Project Chief

DUTIES: Organizing and tracking the DVP for the Program (based off master DVP&R template), ensure all test properties (HILs, bucks, vehicles, etc.) are developed and available on time. Scheduling test property usage by the rest of the validation team for on-time completion. Managing all Integration Points/Validation test loops. Managing any change, revalidation, and regression testing. Maintaining the DVP&R throughout the program and report the results. Establishing all Propulsion System permutation/transmission engine combinations required to test. Assisting with trouble shooting and root cause of issues, and ensure issues are properly documented and managed. Acting as the custodian of all vehicles under their responsibility for all of Propulsion Systems Software.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related and 8 years of experience in job offered or related validation engineering position. Experience must include: working with propulsion systems; working with both electrical and powertrain systems; testing on any test property, including HIL, an Emulator, Dyno, Bench, or in Vehicle; using CAN networking tools, including INCA, CANAlyser, CANApe, or ATI Vision; using an application lifecycle management tool, inlcuding ALM, Polarion, or PLM; working with CARB On-Board Diagnostic and Federal Diagnostic requirements; working with the V-Model for product development; working with Hybrid or Battery Electric vehicles and their architectures and components.
