Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Validation Engineer to join our team. This role involves assisting with the development of qualification protocols and reports, executing equipment and systems qualifications, and supporting vendor qualification functions. You will also assist in developing written procedures for the operation and preventive maintenance of equipment and systems, as well as validation and qualification deliverables.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with developing qualification protocols and reports.Execute equipment and systems qualifications and validation protocols.Support vendor qualification functions.Develop written procedures for operation and preventive maintenance of equipment and systems.Assist with developing validation and qualification deliverables such as Requirements Specifications, Risk Assessments, Traceability Matrix, and Validation Summary.Ensure the operation, calibration, and preventive maintenance of equipment and systems.Essential SkillsExperience with validation protocols.Understanding of validation processes and IQ/OQ/PQ.BS in Engineering or related field.Experience in pharmaceutical or nutraceutical industries.Knowledge of QA with GMP/CGMP standards.Experience with equipment validation and quality assurance.Additional Skills & QualificationsBSME degree.At least 1 year of practical experience in validation engineering or equivalent through internship/co-op.Work Environment
The role is based in a large facility in Hauppauge, working across multiple buildings focused on the qualification of pharmaceutical equipment. The environment is business casual, with a hands-on approach. The team has recently secured a project to create generic inhalants, which will be developed and run from this location. The position offers an engaging and interactive work setting, providing 2 weeks vacation, 2 flex days, 10 holidays, and a 10% performance-based bonus.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $93000.00/yr.
