Job Description
We are an engineering company with over 75 engineers dedicated to achieving manufacturing excellence. We are looking for a highly motivated Validation Engineer to join our team onsite at our Staunton facility. In this role, you will lead and support validation activities across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and collaborating closely with engineering, QA, and manufacturing teams.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute validation protocols, including IQ, OQ, PQ, and TMV.Maintain detailed validation documentation, such as VMPs, reports, and SOPs.Conduct risk assessments and manage change controls.Ensure regulatory compliance with GMP, GLP, CSV, and data integrity standards.Collaborate cross-functionally to support validation strategy and training.Monitor system performance and lead requalification activities.Qualify suppliers and vendors.Contribute to process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.3+ years of experience in validation or quality in a regulated industry.Knowledge of FDA and 21 CFR Part 820 standards.Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and experience with validation software.Strong communication, documentation, and analytical skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsLean/Six Sigma certification.Experience with LMS systems.Experience in pharmaceutical and medical device industries.Knowledge of process validation and validation testing.Experience with injection molding and equipment validation.Work Environment
This role requires work both in an office and on the production floor, involving clear communication, computer use, and occasional physical movement around the facility. Our site is the fastest-growing center, with significant investments and expansions, including a clean room that has tripled in size. The work is primarily automated and involves collaboration with floor engineers.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $47.00/hr.
